Christ: Does my word flow through your actions, thoughts and speech or do you believe with your mouth and head?
Us: Lord we read your word
Christ: Do you read because you are excited to get to know me or do you read because you were told to?
Us: Lord we pray to you
Christ: Do you pray because you can’t wait to talk with me or only to ask me to do something for you?
Us: Lord we are Christians
Christ: Do people see me in you and the passion for my ways or do they see the world masquerading as one of my own?
Us: Lord we have a relationship with you
Christ: Do you converse and commune with me on a daily basis, wanting to spend more time with me; not forgetting me in the good times and bad; not ignoring me when I give correction; not forsaking the opportunities for you to know me more through your fellow siblings and through my word?
Do you find joy and contentment in everything, hope and comfort through the trials, strength for each challenge and peace through the storms because of me?
Do you know how much I love you? Does the understanding and experience of my love overflow your heart to want to share the truth of my love to others so that they may know me too and does my love overshadow everything your short life in this world has to offer you?
Do you love me?

Lord, continue to remind us truly what it means to be a Christian in love with our Saviour. Less of ourselves to become more like you and to express the same love to others. How often we fail you, forget you, ignore you and go off on our own. Let our hearts not grow cold for you and in doing so the love which grows stronger in our walk with you will manifest with our relationship with others.
