Statement of Faith
This site and its staff understand the importance of clearly stating our beliefs as Christians due to the many denominations within Christianity. The points stated on this page are basic beliefs that the staff as believers of Christ accept and understand within our faith. As such if you plan to submit a link to this directory it would be best to read through this page first as these statements are also factors as to whether your site is accepted.
- There is only one true God, the creator of all things, the God of love who is all powerful and never changing
- Jesus Christ is God, the living Word, who became flesh to save us all from sin. He lived a sinless life and suffered the same trials as any man in order to show his followers the way to walk in faith and to follow the Lord. He died on the cross and was raised from the dead on the third day. (John 1:13-14)
- Salvation only comes from God's abundant grace. We are only saved through faith in Christ Jesus and not by human works/goodness or through religious rituals. (Ephesians 2:8-10)
- Baptism is an act of obedience displaying the death of your sinful life and your rebirth into your life with Christ. (Acts 2:38)
- The bible is the perfect word of God inspired through the power of the Holy Spirit. (2 Timothy 3:16)
- As believers of Christ it is a part of our faith that we proclaim His word to all the world, sharing the gospel to the lost and unsaved. (Matthew 28:19)
- Christ will one day return to the earth and cast judgement upon it as well as to take his followers to heaven where he has set a place for all his believers. (John 14:1-3)
